The bands typically cover sub-bass (60 Hz), bass (250 Hz), midrange (1 kHz), upper-mid (4 kHz), and treble (16 kHz), letting you shape the full frequency spectrum.
Cutting is generally preferred over boosting. Removing problem frequencies sounds more natural and avoids introducing distortion or clipping.
Presets replace the current EQ settings. However, you can start with a preset and then manually tweak individual bands to combine effects.
