The FLAC encoding is lossless, but it preserves the already-decoded OGG audio. Quality lost during the original OGG Vorbis compression cannot be recovered.
It controls how aggressively FLAC compresses the data. All levels are lossless; higher levels just produce slightly smaller files at the cost of longer encoding time.
This tool is designed for OGG Vorbis files. OGG Opus uses a different codec and may require a different converter.
