  • Skip the first page if it is a cover or title page that should not show a number.
  • Use Roman numerals (i, ii, iii) for preface sections and Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3) for the main body.
  • Bottom-center is the most common and professional placement for page numbers.

Yes. Set the starting page to 3 and the starting number to 1, so the third page displays as page 1.
Page numbers are placed in the margin area. Adjust the margin offset if your document has narrow margins to avoid overlap.
Currently the tool applies one style to the entire document. For mixed styles, process sections separately and merge them.
