  • If photographing a print instead of scanning, use even lighting and avoid glare from the photo surface.
  • The AI handles scratches and small tears best. Very large missing areas may not reconstruct accurately.

The AI handles scratches, creases, small tears, stains, fading, color shifts, and dust spots well. Large missing areas (torn-off sections) are harder to reconstruct convincingly.
Scanning at 600 DPI produces the best results because it captures uniform detail. If you must photograph it, use a flat surface, even lighting, and shoot straight down to avoid perspective distortion.
