- VCF files can contain multiple contacts - all are extracted and listed as separate CSV rows.
- Some VCF files include base64-encoded photos; these are stripped from the CSV output to keep it clean.
- If phone numbers appear with country codes, the tool preserves them as-is for international compatibility.
- Export with UTF-8 encoding to preserve names with accented or non-Latin characters.
- Supports vCard 2.1, 3.0, and 4.0 formats
- Extracts names, emails, phones, addresses, organizations, and custom fields
- Handles multi-value fields (multiple emails or phone numbers per contact)
- Strips embedded photos and binary data
- Processes everything locally - contacts never leave your device
- Export phone contacts from iOS or Android backups into a spreadsheet for review
- Migrate contacts from one email provider to another via CSV import
- Create a mailing list spreadsheet from exported vCard contacts
- Back up contacts in a universal, human-readable CSV format
VCF (vCard File) is the standard format for electronic business cards. It stores contact information like names, phone numbers, emails, and addresses. Most phone and email apps can export contacts as VCF.
Each phone number type (mobile, home, work) gets its own CSV column, so a contact with three numbers will have data in three separate phone columns.
