Real-ESRGAN upscales every frame, then ffmpeg applies temporal denoise. ~1-3 minutes per second of video.

- Anime, animation, and high-bitrate source produce the cleanest output. Heavy noise and low bitrate amplify per-frame ESRGAN flicker.
- The atadenoise filter mitigates the worst flicker — but for shot-critical work, consider re-encoding with a stronger temporal filter.
- Output preserves source fps and aspect ratio — no cropping or speed change.
