About this tool
- 1
Select test
Choose a test tab: CPS, Polling Rate, Click Latency, Scroll, or Button Test.
- 2
CPS test
Click as fast as possible in the target area. Choose 1, 5, or 10 second duration and see your clicks per second.
- 3
Polling rate
Move your mouse rapidly across the test area. The tool measures event intervals to estimate your polling rate in Hz.
- 4
Button test
Click each mouse button (left, right, middle, back, forward) to verify all buttons register correctly.
- For accurate polling rate, move your mouse in fast circles - slow movements give fewer data points.
- Most gaming mice run at 1000Hz polling rate. 125Hz is the USB default, 500Hz and 4000Hz are also common.
- CPS tests measure your click speed - competitive Minecraft players often reach 10+ CPS with jitter clicking.
- Scroll jitter (direction reversals) can indicate a worn scroll wheel encoder.
- Clicks per second (CPS) test with 1/5/10 second durations
- Polling rate checker with live Hz graph using mousemove event timing
- Click latency measurement (mousedown to mouseup duration)
- Scroll wheel test with jitter and reversal detection
- All 5 mouse buttons test with visual feedback
- Verifying your gaming mouse polling rate matches the advertised spec
- Testing click speed for competitive gaming (Minecraft PvP, osu!, etc.)
- Diagnosing a malfunctioning scroll wheel or side button
- Comparing polling rate consistency between different mice
